Description

In 2024 the South Pacific Regional Championships will be held at the beautiful Tehachapi Mountain Rodeo Assoc arena in Tehachapi Ca. It will be a 5 stage main match plus 2 stage shotgun & rifle competitions. Saturday will be 1 stage each Eliminator shotgun & rifle followed by 3 stages of the main match. Sunday will be stage 2 of shotgun & rifle followed by stages 4 and 5 of the MM and ending with the eliminator finals. Main match fee will be $120 with 50% payback ($50/$10 split Class/Overall). Shotgun & rifle entry fees will be $70 also with 50% payback ($25/$10 split Class/Overall). Eliminator is split into limited & open (no gender split) $60, 50% payback. Buckles will be awarded for the Overall Cowboy & Cowgirl. Extra horses may be run for the Clean Shooter Jackpot ($20 Entry + $50 Ammo & Balloon Setter fee). A delicious food truck will be onsite Saturday for lunch as well as Sunday for breakfast & lunch. There are great restaurants close by for dinner and socializing Saturday night. Dry camping is $20 for the weekend, arrive no sooner than noon Friday. There are plenty of outdoor stalls and pens are available $20 per horse for the weekend, Stalls must be cleaned before you leave Sunday afternoon or pay $15 in advance and Tehachapi Jr Rodeo kids will clean for you.
