Description

Come and join us at the 5th annual Travis Quarter Horse Shoot near Creston, Iowa. Two great days of shooting in the southern hills of Southwest iowa. Travis Quarter Horses is sponsoring 9 buckles to be given away over the combined two days of shooting. Competitors will shoot at one arena and then ride up through the cornfields to the second arena after to shoot the next stage. This shoot will go on rain or shine!
Come in early on Friday night and do some trail riding or fishing in the nearby ponds. The Travis Quarter Horse Mares and colts will be on display as well.
Saturday night, the Travis families will be providing table service, meat, and drink. All are welcome and side dishes are appreciated.
Following supper on Saturday night will be the Travis Quarter Horse Class. It will be a lot of fun to see which Travis Quarter Horse takes home the coveted TQH saddlepad and $1,000.00! There will be many entries this year - you won't want to miss it!

There will be limited stalls and a few electric spots that can be arranged ahead of time by calling Bruce Travis (641-344-4245), otherwise, there is tons of room to spread out and dry camp and porta-pen your horses next to your trailers at no charge. There is one bathroom with a shower available on site for use by all shooters and their guests.
