Schedule of Events

STATE SHOOT JUNE 15-16 3X the points on a 5-stage match over two days with calvary, eliminator, shotgun, & rifle class with a 40% payback on all classes (Main Match only). Pay 1 place for every 5 entries. 10 buckles up for grabs Limited (1-2) Cowboy & Cowgirl Express (3-4) Cowboy & Cowgirl Open (5-6) Cowboy & Cowgirl Shotgun - Limited (1-3) & Open (4-6) Rifle - Limited (1-3) & Open (4-6) NO senior splits There will also be a buckle option for class winners. If you win your class and want a custom State Champion buckle, you can apply your winnings after the shoot, or pay outright to have a buckle ordered. Come and join us at the 7th annual Travis Quarter Horses Shoot near Creston, Iowa. Enjoy two great days of shooting in the hills of Southwest Iowa. Travis Quarter Horses is sponsoring 10 buckles to be given away over the combined two days of shooting. JTJ Guns is also sponsoring a buckle for the Cavalry Class. We will be using two arenas again this year. We will start on Friday night with Cavalry at 7:00pm. Saturday, we will start main match at 9:00am. We will run rifle after the main match on Saturday. We will start Sunday with shotgun at 9:00am, followed by main match. Come in early on Friday morning and do some trail riding or fishing in the nearby ponds. The Travis Quarter Horses mares and colts will be on display as well. Saturday night we will have a potluck for all of our shooters

Come and join us at the Iowa state fair. The biggest crowd you will get to shoot in front of in the state of Iowa!!!! 4 Stage main match- with a rifle and shotgun demo for prizes. Long gun demo will be one stage of each combined times- must shoot shotgun & rifle to qualify Move in date for the event is on Thursday Aug. 8th between 7-9 p.m. This is a very strict timeline. You WILL NOT be admitted into the fairgrounds before or after our unloading time. The match starts on Friday Aug. 9th at 8:30 a.m. Shooters meeting will be at 8:15 a.m. Camping will be similar to last year. We will be in the livestock trailer parking. Camping will be $20 and with that you will receive a parking pass for the Rock Island parking lot south of the fairgrounds for Thursday and Friday. Stalls are $3
