Like many other sports, Cowboy Mounted Shooting has many aspects that require a solid start in order to be successful! The New Shooter's Clinic is specifically designed to encourage the relationship between horse and rider.

The clinic will be limited to 30 students, to ensure we have enough time to deal with everyone on a one on one basis, and make sure you and your horse have a successful clinic.

This year's clinic will be May 4-5, 2019.  It will be held at the outdoor arena at Boulder County Fairgrounds, Longmont, CO.  The cost is $175 for two days of action packed learning.  Guns, holsters, ammo, instruction, support, arena are provided.

You bring the horse and saddle!  100 rounds of ammo provided, additional ammo can be purchased.

The first day of the clinic is designed to have you familiar with shooting a .45, answering questions, and going over what you need to know.  The second day will be focused on getting the horse ready and riding and shooting. You must attend day one in order to attend day two.  The last part of day two will have a low key competition where you can showcase or test your newly learned skills.

Please bring lunch and water for you and your horse!
