CMSA is happy to welcome D’Ayn Sayre and Maria Mertz to The Rundown Magazine! D’Ayn will be taking on the role as our new Writer/Editor and Maria Mertz our new Graphic Designer.

D’Ayn Sayre is a writer, editor, and adrenaline enthusiast. A native Floridian, she moved to mid-Missouri with her husband in 2023 and shortly after, started competing in the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association. She comes from a long line of horsemen, has a passion for competitive shooting sports, and looks forward to sharing her professional experience in editorial production with the organization she calls home.

Maria Mertz is a Missouri native and has been a proud member of the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association since 2012. She is an active ladies level 6 competitor, equestrian industry marketer, and owner of Maria Lee Leatherwork. A lifelong equestrian, Maria studied photography and graphic design and enjoys combining her creative background with her passion for horses.
