www.cochraneagsociety.com. Directions:The Cochrane Ag Grounds are located about 20 minutes northwest of Calgary in Cochrane. The grounds are located on the northwest corner of the junction of Hwy's 22 & 1A.The entrance to the South grounds is located on Hwy 1A - first exit on the right after the highway junction.

This is a 3 day CMSA Event starting Friday. LIMITED NUMBER OF MAIN MATCH ENTRIES IS 50. Please enter online at cmsaevents.com. Registration closes Thurs Sept 1st or sooner if 50 LIMIT is reached. This is an outdoor shoot with an indoor on-site as back up. Please note "The Tour de Alberta" Road Bike Race is coming thru Cochrane on Friday Sept 2nd.
All roads intersecting Highway 1A (Hwy 22, Horse Creek Rd, Grand Valley Rd) will be blocked from 2 to 3 pm on Friday Sept 2nd as races come east on 1A from Kananaskis then turns north on Lochend Rd 567

8am Wranglers Ground Shoot, Main Match Stages 3, 4, Shotgun Stage 1.
At 1pm the 4 Top Male + 4 Top Female + 1 Top Shotgun from Overall Results thru Stages 1&2 are invited to OPEN the Cochrane Lions 50th Anniversary Rodeo a 1PM Saturday at the Cochrane Lions Rodeo Grounds Downtown. Trailers will depart the Fairgrounds (where we are shooting) at 12 noon sharp to head to the Rodeo Grounds. All competitors are welcome to come watch the rodeo and enjoy the afternoon festivities complete with beer gardens.
6pm Free Dinner for Competitors and Sponsors at the Rodeo Grounds. This event is kindly sponsored by Balzac Meats, Rod and April McLeod and the Copithorne Family. Please come and meet and visit with the sponsors of our event

AWARDS -OVERALL Buckle winners are asked to feature in the Rodeo at 1 pm.
The BUCKLE PRESENTATION WILL BE MADE AT THE RODEO since the Cochrane Lions Sponsored them for us!
At 1pm the 4 Top Male + 4 Top Female + 1Top Shotgun From Overall Results thru Stage 5 are invited to OPEN the Cochrane Lions 50th Anniversary Rodeo a 1PM Sunday at the Cochrane Lions Rodeo Grounds Downtown. Trailers will depart the Fairgrounds where we are shooting at 12 noon to head to the Rodeo Grounds. All competitors are welcome to come watch the rodeo and enjoy the afternoon festivities.
Other Details:
All horses must have a stall onsite. Stalling limited and assigned so please one horse per competitor.
Stalls $60.00 Includes 2 nights and shavings for move in Friday and out Sunday.
If you are entered in SHOTGUN and need a 2nd stall - reserve with Christa 403-992-2477.
Free Dry camping / No power hookups / all dogs on a leash.
No Time Onlys.
