Description

Hi Shooters!

Saturday marks the Douglas County Fair Shoot in Castle Rock. This shoot is a 4 Stage CMSA Double Points Match. We will have $1000 Added by Colorado Mounted Thunder. The Pueblo West Balloon Setters will be on hand to keep things moving along as well. Entries are open on the CMSA website: www.cmsaevents.com. Please pre-enter so that we can have your names on the authorized parking list.

The Fair Parade is the same morning as our shoot. The streets will be shut down after 8:30am for parade staging and will not reopen prior to the start of our shoot!

You should plan to be parked on the grounds by 8:00am to ensure you can attend the shoot!

We will be offerring time only runs from 8:30am to 10:30am. We will set up 2 or 3 patterns for shooters to warm up their horses or expose new horses. $10 shooting/$5 non-shooting. You may pay cash at the gate or buy tickets in the entry office to turn in at the gate. We will be setting balloons on horseback during time only runs. This is a great opportunity to expose new horses and have some fun before we shoot! Heck, you can even do Time Only Runs with Shotgun or Rifle for all you new long gun addicts!

Directions:

From I-25, exit Plum Creek Parkway in Castle Rock. Go East on Plum Creek Parkway up the hill over the bridge and the Fairgrounds Entrance is on the North Side of the Road.

Parking will be on the south side of the Events Center - parking attendants will direct you. We will have access to ride east of the Events Center and the Indoor Arena north to the Rodeo Arena. You may ride back and forth, but it is not adjacent, so plan accordingly. No guns in the Midway/Carnival/Concessions Areas. The Fair and its concessionaires open at 10:30am.

We are expecting a good turnout and there will be a crowd in attendance. This should be a lot of fun!
