1st Annual Southwest Borders Wars sponsored by:

• Sin City Mounted Shooters of Las Vegas, NV


• Southern California Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association of Norco, CA


• Arizona Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association of Glendale, Arizona

Prizes include:

• Buckles for Overall Cowboy and Cowgirl


• Buckles for each qualified class winner (minimum of 3 class competitors)


• Personalized Medallions for Wranglers


• Medallions for non-qualified class winners


• State Trophy to be presented to the President(s) of the winning club(s) with the lowest overall average score, tallied by state (AZ, CA, NV).


• Great Raffle prizes (1 free ticket for each competitor; additional tickets available for purchase)

Entry fee includes a free ticket to the Saturday Night Social and Buffet at the Bonnie Springs Restaurant and Lounge. Additional tickets available for purchase.

Local Services Include:

• Limited number of arena and barn stalls available; portable corrals okay (and encouraged).


• Plenty of Dry Camping Grounds; very limited electrical hookups on first come / first serve basis.


• Porta-potties on the premises.


• Lodging at the Bonnie Springs Old Nevada Motel available on the premises.  Call for motel reservations at 702-875-4400.


• Bonnie Springs Old Nevada has restaurant, petting zoo, motel, small train ride, and an Old Town with souvenir shops and regularly scheduled western shows.  The facility is 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip!
